Two Colombian authors talk about their most recent works with Claudia Morales. The Colombian writer Pilar Quintana is the author of five novels and a book of short stories that have been translated into more than fifteen languages; chosen for the Bogotá39 2007, her work has won her the Biblioteca de Narrativa Colombiana Award and the PEN Translates Award for La perra (2018). His latest work, Los abismos (2021), has been awarded the Alfaguara Novel Prize. The journalist, editor and writer Felipe Restrepo began his career under the direction of Gabriel García Márquez as a reporter at the magazine Cambio and, subsequently, he has been Latin American Editor of Esquire magazine, Cultural Editor of Semana magazine, columnist with El Espectador newspaper and Gente magazine, and the Editor of Gatopardo. He has just published his second novel, Ceremonia, in which he explores the sexuality, desires and loneliness of Latin American elites.
