Reflections on being a father and new masculinities, considering more open, loving and involved father-child relationships, is a theme that has attracted many writers. Two Peruvian authors, Renato Cisneros and Gustavo Rodríguez, will talk to Jimena Díez Zapater about this exploration, tackling the theme as writers and fathers. Renato Cisneros is a writer and journalist, the author of books such as La distancia que nos separa and Dejarás la tierra, as well as the essay Algún día te mostraré el desierto, bringing a critical and intimate perspective to fatherhood and its implications. The writer Gustavo Rodríguez, who has written novels such as La república de la papaya and Madrugada, presents the podcast Machista con Hijas, in which the author reflects on the sexism embedded in the society in which we live, based on a conversation with his three daughters. This experience has likewise turned into a book of the same name. They will talk to Jimena Díaz Zapater.
