The writer and filmmaker Paul Auster (United States) is the author of dozens of books of fiction, non-fiction and poetry, which have been translated into around forty languages. He is a member of the US Academy of Arts and Letters, an honorary doctor from the University of Liege, a Commander of the French Order of Arts and Letters, and a 2006 Princess of Asturias Award winner. Auster is the author of classics such as The New York Trilogy (1985-1987), Moon Palace (1989), The Book of Illusions (2002) and 4 3 2 1 (2017). He will talk to Marta Orrantia.
