The nickname of one of the characters in Love in the Time of Cholera, by Gabriel García Márquez, comes from a verse by Leandro Díaz. This popular master of the Vallenato genre, a blind jester – like Homer – comes from a family of musicians. Some of them will accompany him in his debut at the Hay Festival.
