Melba Escobar is the author of the novels Duermevela (2010), Johnny y el mar (2014), House of Beauty and La mujer que hablaba sola (2019), which have been translated into various languages. Her first non-fiction work, Cuando éramos felices pero no lo sabíamos, a book about the complex relationship between Colombia and Venezuela, a work given depth by the author’s travels to the neighbouring country in 2019 and 2020. Escobar is also a columnist for El Tiempo newspaper. The writer and journalist Margarita Posada is the Creative Director of a narrative advertising firm. Her most recent book is Las muertes chiquitas, a profoundly personal work in which the author tells the story of how, after a trip to Europe, she had to live with the condition that makes everything turn opaque and grey: depression.
