Journalist and writer, Rosa Montero (Spain), studied Psychology and did a degree in Journalism. She has published over 30 books including novels, short story collections, children’s books and literary journalism. She has received numerous awards, including the 2017 National Spanish Literature Prize, the 2020 Cedro Prize, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Puerto Rico. Her books have been translated into over 20 languages. Her most recent novel is La buena suerte (2020), which tells the story of Pablo and Raluca, who meet in a cursed town. Pablo is fleeing from something undefined and Raluca has a secret. The novel’s intriguing dynamics envelop the reader with reflections on fear, longing, desire and ideas of good and evil.
