After the impressive success of Ordesa (2018), the Spanish writer Manuel Vilas presents Alegría (2019), a novel with an autobiographical slant about a famous writer who travels the world after the fame gained with his previous book. He promotes his book and meets his readers, but he also comes to terms with the death of his parents and a recent divorce, considers his relationship with his children and reflects on his country’s history. Vilas will talk to the Peruvian writer Katya Adaui.
