The playwright and actor from Queretaro, Javier Velázquez, has a BA in Philosophy and a MA in Modern and Contemporary Art. He has taught workshops, talks and seminars about theater for cultural and educational institutions in México, the US and Spain, and has been part of more than 30 plays. He currently coordinates the Centro de Teatro Contemporáneo and is the director of the Navíos Teatro Contemporáneo theatre company, at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro. He will speak about his creative journey with William Márquez, BBC mundo journalist.
