He has worked with publications such as SoHo, Letras Libres, Etiqueta Negra and La República, writing, for this last publication, the column Qué sabe nadie, and presenting radio and television programmes for the RPP group. He has published four poetry books, two books of short stories and four novels, including La distancia que nos separa (2015) and Dejarás la tierra (2017), works of autobiographical fiction which tell the story of the life of his father, the soldier and ex-minister, Luis Cisneros Vizquerra, and his childhood and adolescence with him. In his new book, Algún día te mostraré el desierto (2019), Cisneros returns to the theme of fatherhood, but this time from his experience not as a child, but as a father. He will talk to Jerónimo Pimentel.
