The upcoming celebration of the bicentenary is also a chance to assess how things are in Peru for all citizens, what needs are to be considered and what should be celebrated. Three Peruvian guests who know their country well will take the pulse of Peruvian reality, backed up by their respective disciplines (gender and race studies, history, environment) imagining how legislation, and its application, should be improved; and talking about the cultural changes we have gone through, and how young Peruvians are changing the country’s direction. With Maria Emma Mannarelli, Alex Huerta Mercado and Manuel Pulgar Vidal, in conversation with Renato Cisneros.
Event organized together with the Bicentenary Project
