According to UNESCO, this century will see the disappearance of half of the six thousand languages in existence. Quechua is under threat, despite being spoken widely in Peru. In this discussion, the experts on this subject, Carmen Escalante (Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad in Cusco), Bruce Mannheim (University of Michigan) and Odi Gonzales Jiménez (University of New York) will debate on writing in and using Quechua.
