Ángela Posada Swafford has been writing for 30 years for non-specialist audiences on subjects of science, among many others, astronomy, astronautics, paleontology, geology, oceanography, genetics, the environment, biodiversity, evolution, archaeology and astrophysics. A member of the First Colombian Scientific Expedition to the Antarctic, she will talk with Ana Maria Cano about her latest book Hielo: bitácora de una expedicionaria antártica, which collects her six expeditions to the Antarctic continent as a scientific journalist. It is a book-diary filled with photos and objects collected in the Antarctic, isolated moments of philosophical, scientific, environmental, historical and geopolitical reflections; the invisible threads that join the Antarctic with Colombia and the tropics; and our relationship as humans with this continent which is capable of creating obsessions and has in its ice caps the answer to our future.
