Doris Salcedo studied Fine Art at the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano of Bogota and, from when she began her career as a visual artist, she has given form to the stories of violence and dispossession that have been left behind by the armed conflict in Colombia. As one of the most prominent artists of the moment, her work has been exhibited in museums of the stature of MoMA (New York), Tate Modern (London), Centro Pompidou (Paris) and Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid). She will be in conversation with the writer and journalist Juan David Correa.
