Mario Mendoza’s classic is reinvented in 2018 in the format of a graphic novel. It is Satanás (Premio Biblioteca Breve, 2002), the novel in which Mendoza reconstructs, through the interlinked stories of four characters, the massacre of Pozzetto, in which a veteran of the Vietnam War murdered thirty people in a restaurant in Bogotá. The narrative is based on the facts that took pace on the 4th of December 1986. Mendoza offers, in the images of the Colombian illustrator Keco Olano, a new representation of those tumultuous events and a commemoration of a tragedy that is difficult to forget. In conversation with the lawyer and journalist David Lara.
