Carlos Magdalena is one of the most reputable botanists in the UK and the resuscitator of species of plants that have been forgotten. This Spanish botanist has travelled the world rescuing plants in danger of extinction and for that reason he is known as the “Plant Messiah” in the UK. In 2017 he published his book The Plant Messiah, where he talks about his work and his passion for rescuing forgotten flora. In conversation with Brigitte Baptiste.
