The work of the Colombian artist, Doris Salcedo, expresses the stories of violence and loss that the armed conflict in her country has left. As one of the world’s most important contemporary artists, her work has been shown in major museums such as MoMA (New York), Tate Modern (London), the Pompidou Centre (Paris) and the Reina Sofía Museum (Madrid). She will talk to the Spanish writer and journalist Jesús Ruiz Mantilla.
