The prolific Leila Guerriero is an Argentinean journalist, publisher and writer. She is Latin America Editor for the Mexican magazine Gatopardo and has worked with a range of Spanish and Latin American media organizations including, La Nación, Rolling Stone, SoHo, El Malpensante and El Mercurio. In 2010 she received the CEMEX-FNPI Prize for her book El rastro en los huesos, about the work of the Argentinean Forensic Anthropology Team, the NGO in charge of identifying the remains of victims of the military dictatorship. Her work includes Los suicidas del fin del mundo. Crónica de un pueblo patagónico (Tusquets, 2005); the collection of essays, Frutos extraños (Alfaguara, 2009), a collection of profiles of figures from the world of art and literature Plano americano (Ediciones UDP, 2013) and Zona de obras (Anagrama, 2015).
