The versatility of Hugo Hiriart has allowed him to sail the waters of different worlds. He has been the director of the Mexican Cultural Institute, cultural attaché at the embassy in New York, a screenplay writer, producer and director for film and TV and, of course, a writer. He has published novels, essays and literature for young people. In 2018 his fascinating non-fiction book Sobre la naturaleza de los sueños, published originally in 1995, is being re-printed. He will talk to the writer Jazmina Barrera.
