Mónica Lavín is a journalist, writer and lecturer at Mexico City’s Universidad Autónoma. Her bibliography, which includes stories, novels and non-fiction, has received several awards, including the Elena Poniatowska Ibero-American Novel Prize for her historical novel about Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Yo, la peor. In 2016 she published Mexicontemporáneo. Edson Lechuga is a graduate in Hispanic Philology from the University of Barcelona and has contributed to a number of newspapers in Spain and Latin America. He is the author of the novels Luz de luciérnagas and gotas.de.mercurio, and the children’s book Elefantes y papalotes. The work of Alfredo Núñez Lanz includes two stories for children, Soy un dinosaurio and Veneno de abeja, and a historical novel El pacto de la hoguera. He is also an editor with and founder of Textofilia Ediciones. These Mexican writers, who also work as journalists, will talk to Antonio Cabadas.
