The storyteller and author brought up in the nomadic storytelling tradition has blended the old with the new, turning his stories into award-winning plays for radio and theatre and, best of all, into books for children and young adults. He loves words and how they have the power to show the diversity of all of our lives and how we can have fun creating stories from them. Richard likes to show how we can use stories to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, to educate, inspire and empower ourselves and others. During the session there will be reading from Ossiri and the Balamengro, a story about a girl who refuses to give up on her dream.
