The author of Strange Star takes readers behind the scenes of being a writer. She will discuss how strange stories from the past inspire her and have woven their way into her writing. Expect ghosts, daredevils, fake photographs and marrowbone sandwiches, and the chance to interact with some unusual props from the past. She’ll talk about the real history in her books, from both World Wars as well as from the writing of Frankenstein, how she researches her stories, and what happens when her imagination takes over.
