Lourdes García Armuelles has been part of the news team at La Estrella de Panamá for five years, covering national, cultural, sports and political issues. For the past three years, she has specialized in economic issues and video reporting on special topics. Throughout her career, she has received awards such as the National Prize from the National Journalism Forum, the Victoria Prize from the University of Santa María la Antigua, and the scientific journalism award given by the Panama Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (Senacyt). A graduate of Panama University’s Faculty of Social Communication.
