Style icon Paul Simonon is an artist and musician best known as the bass guitarist in The Clash and musical collective The Good, the Bad and The Queen. Paul formed The Clash with Mick Jones and Joe Strummer 1976. After The Clash, Paul founded a band called Havana 3a.m. and returned to painting – his first love. Other work includes collaborating with former band mate Mick Jones on the 2010 album Plastic Beach by Gorillaz. Simonon also worked with Damon Albarn, Tony Allen and Simon Tong on The Good, the Bad & the Queen (2007 & 2018).
