Hay Festival Winter Weekend returns to Hay-on-Wye for four days of talks, music, comedy and ideas, 26–29 November 2026.

Nestled on the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, the booktown comes alive each November with author conversations, one-off performances, workshops and festive events – kicked off by the Christmas lights switch-on in the Market Square.
Think fairy lights, mulled wine, choirs and candle-lit storytelling: it's Hay Festival at its cosiest.
