Fiona Evans and the Hay Festival Chorus, appearing with the Paula Gardiner Trio, performed a jazz Fauré Requiem at Hay tonight. Evans has worked as a professional singer with small consorts including The Sixteen, and has been running community choirs for 20 years. Gardiner is Head of Jazz at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
