Pedro Llosa, Andrea Mejía and Karina Pacheco in conversation with Dante Trujillo

Telling stories.

Arequipa 2018,

What makes a good story? The right person, the perfect setting, effort, a moment of inspiration? The Peruvian fiction writer Pedro Llosa explores the moral dilemmas of human life in La medida de todas las cosas, his new story collection. Andrea Mejía (Colombia) is the author of the mysterious and beautiful short story collection La naturaleza seguía propagándose en la oscuridad. Lastly, Karina Pacheco (Cuzco) is a Doctor in Anthropology and a novelist and short story writer. She has published books such as Alma alga (2010) and El sendero de los rayos (2013). These three guests will reflect on what it means to write short stories.
