All our Festivals are free for students in full-time higher education.
Each year we bring 10,000 children from 220 schools to the free schools days in Hay.
Hay Academy provides internship and work experience opportunities for young people in the cultural, event production and technology sectors.
The Hay Levels are specially commissioned three-minute videos made by academics from the world’s greatest universities for A-Level students. Viewing figures exceed 237,000 and continue to grow.
We work with PLAN International in South America to develop literary and library projects in the barrios and with the public library in Hay.
Hay in the Parc
Hay in the Parc develops our nine-year literature and literacy partnership with HMP/YOI Parc Prison Bridgend, reaching over 1,500 prisoners and young offenders.
Talking About Shakespeare
‘Talking About Shakespeare’ is a video project sharing the work of academics, actors, directors and film-makers celebrating Shakespeare’s plays.
Hay Player is the video and audio archive of our events from all our Festivals made digitally available to everyone and shared with libraries and universities globally.
