Associate Professor of Politics at the Los Andes University, she studied Politics at that university, studied for a Master’s in International Relations at the University of Chicago and another in Politics at the University of Wisconsin. She took her PhD in Politics at the University of Minnesota, and did post-doctoral studies in International Relations at Groningen University. Borda writes columns for Arcadia magazine and El Tiempo newspaper, and is an analyst for the radio programme Hora 20. She has also worked in International Relations. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Sao Paulo and taught at several Colombian universities. She has been a guest researcher at ITAM in Mexico and at Toronto University.
