Cathy de Haan, (Germany) is a acclaimed creative writing, playwriting and film aesthetics professor of German-Dutch-English-Polish origin. She teachers Creative Writing and Cultural Communication Strategies in the cities of Leipzig and Potsdam. She is an eclectic creator who works with film, music, text and performing arts and produces movies and cultural events. As a curator and film activist, she starts programmes all over the world: the focus is on interdisciplinary arts projects and independent filmmaking. She is a consultant to film festivals and cultural institutions. She will share her experience with an audience interested in interdisciplinary and cross-cutting work in the fields of creative writing and film.
