Visual artist who studied at the National School of Fine Art in Lima. Her work provokes critical reflection on contemporary political and cultural matters: colonialism, racism, gender and citizenship. She has had eleven solo exhibitions, the latest being: Todos los espacios están contemplados en mi reino, Project Suero, Pamplona, Spain in 2019. She has received numerous awards, including: Member of the Consultative Council of the Peru 2021 Bicentenary; BienalSur: invited to exhibit on the Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Lima, Potosi and La Paz (Argentina, Peru and Bolivia 2019) circuit; and the Luces Prize for Best Retrospective Exhibition, for her group exhibition Mestiza, at the Lima Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC-Lima, 2014). Her work has been cited and published many times in texts on art and social studies. Between 2011 and 2018 she was Academic Director of the Corriente Alterna School of Visual Art in Peru. She is a founding member of the Colectivo Sociedad Civil group. Between 2000 and 2001 she took part in the following citizen actions: Lava la Bandera, Cambio-No-Cumbia, Cose la Bandera and others.
