Ana María Cano is a publisher and journalist who specializes in cultural matters. She has written articles on art and culture for both magazines and books. She has lectured in Journalism at the University of Antioquia and the Universidad Javeriana. She also won a grant to study at the CFPJ in Paris. She founded and ran La Hoja de Medellín and after that, took charge of the EAFIT press. She is a columnist for El Espectador and editor of the Savia Collection of five books about Colombian botanical regions.
