He began working in television in 1996 with the television series Padres e hijos and after that acted in soap operas such as ¿Por qué diablos?, Amor a mil, El ladrón de corazones and others. In 2005 he debuted in film with a starring role in Rosario Tijeras, the movie version of the novel of the same name by Juan Carlos Franco. He has acted in the successful television series Sin tetas no hay paraíso and Narcos, and appears in the films Undertow, La mujer de mi hermano and the recent Rubirosa, which he also co-directed.
