Fabian LEBENGLIK

lebenglik-fabian (Buenos Aires, Argentina) Is an editor and art critic. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). In 1999 he cofounded Adriana Hidalgo editora (AH) and he is the editorial director since then. In 2000 he won the Publisher of the Year Award given by the Buenos Aires Book Fair. In 2012, his work as literary publisher was distinguished by the Guadalajara Book Fair (Mexico) with the Publishing Merit Award, which highlights the best international publishing projects. In 2014, in Buenos Aires, he received the Platinum Konex Award for his editorial work in Adriana Hidalgo Editora. He was member of the Board of Directors of the Fundación Antorchas between 2001 and 2005; director of the Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas of the Buenos Aires University between 2002 and 2006 and for the last 30 years he has been an arts critic for Página12 newspaper. In 2009 he curated the Argentinean shipment to the International Art Biennial of Venice. AH publishing house will turn twenty years old next year, and it is specialized in the publication of literature, essay, philosophy, theater, music, visual arts and illustrated books, both by authors in Spanish and other languages, with very careful translations. Its catalog exceeded 450 titles and stands out for its literary profile, for the discovery of new books and authors and for its cosmopolitan project, given that it has distribution throughout Latin America and in Spain.
