Venezuelan director and screenplay writer. He studied Film at the University of Southern California. His first work, La Virgen Negra, won the Public’s Prize at the 2008 Venezuelan Film Festival, and was made with the involvement of a range of well-known Venezuelan and international professionals. In 2009, he published a book of short stories called Penélope (Random House Mondadori). In 2010 he presented En Blanco, a theatrical monologue, which he directed and wrote. In 2016, he released his latest film, El Inca, based on the life of the Venezuelan world boxing champion, Edwin Valero. He is currently preparing his next project, La muerte de Marquez.
