Alicia BARTLETT

(Almansa, Castile La Mancha, 1951) She studied Spanish Philology at the University of Valencia and received her doctorate in Spanish Literature from the University of Barcelona, where she has been living since 1975. Her first book, Exit, was published in 1984. In the 1990s she created the famous character, Inspector Petra Delicado, who became the protagonist of a series of novels. In 1997 she won the Premio Femenino Lumen award for Una Habitación Ajena. In 2011 she won the Nadal Prize with the novel Donde Nadie te Encuentre. In 2015 she received the Pepe Carvalho Detective Novel award and the Planeta Prize for her novel Nubes de Tormenta. Her latest novel, also featuring the distinguished Petra Delicado, is entitled Mi Querido Asesino en Serie.
