Editorial Director of the division comprising Alfaguara, Lumen, Debate, Taurus and the academic publications that the PRH group publishes with the RAE. She studied Literature at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. From 1997 to April 2009 she was in charge of the General Publishing area of Grupo Santillana in Colombia, where she was first editor and then Editorial Director of the imprints Aguilar, Punto de lectura, Taurus, Alfaguara, Suma, Alfaguara Infantil y Juvenil, developing a local catalogue of more than 300 titles, with a strong impact on Colombian cultural life. In May 2009 she was appointed editorial director of the Alfaguara imprint in Spain. In July 2013 she took over the overall editorial management of the Alfaguara and Taurus imprints, which in 2016 was joined by the Debate imprint and in 2017 by the Lumen imprint, thus forming one of the largest literary divisions of Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial.
