Born in Cali, Colombia, in 1986. She studied Literature at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota. She is a journalist, writer and illustrator. She has worked as an editor for media including Bacánika, Vive.in and Revista Fucsia. She has contributed to publications in Colombia (SoHo, Shock) and the United States (Girls Like Us) and has also exhibited in several Colombian art galleries. Her first work, You Always Change the Love of Your Life (For Another Love or Another Life) –a visual book in which the author explores autofiction, written and illustrated by hand but with an invitation to reader intervention– was published by Planeta and has set sales records, staying on the bestseller list for over three years. In 2017 she published Cosas que piensas cuando te muerdes las uñas, based on her experience with general anxiety disorder, and examining the way in which we tackle fear, and in 2018, Tarot magicomístico de estrellas (pop) a guide accompanied by 22 cards that reimagine old mysteries as stars of popular culture.
