Susan ABULHAWA

Susan Abulhawa was born into a family of Palestinian refugees after the 1967 war. She is a human rights activist and a political commentator. In 2000 she founded Playgrounds for Palestine, an organization dedicated to preserving children’s right to play. Her first novel, Mornings in Jenin, was an international bestseller that has been translated into seventeen languages. Her latest novel is The Blue Between Sky and Water (Bloomsbury, 2016).
