(Spain) With a degree in journalism from the UPV, Tarancón has run the Joker bookshop since it was founded, 19 years ago. He is a founding partner of Astiberri Ediciones, where he has worked as an editor for the last 12 years and for which he created the magazine Trama. He edited that publication for its first 38 editions, and obtained 3 prizes for best magazine, voted for by those attending the Salón Internacional del Cómic de Barcelona. He is a founding member of the Asociación de Editores de Cómic de España and the Zona Cómic, an association of bookshops specialising in comics.
