(Buenos Aires 1942). A law graduate from Buenos Aires University, Divinsky worked as a lawyer for a decade until in 1967 he and Kuki Miler created the publishing company Ediciones de la Flor. After a few years this publisher began to grow and in 1970 it was the first to publish works by authors such as Rodolfo Walsh and Quino, whose 6th volume of the Mafalda series sold 200 thousand copies in two days. Over time, Ediciones de la Flor became one of the major publishing houses in the Argentinean market, selling numerous comic strip artists such as Fontanarrosa, Quino, Caloi, Sendra, Liniers, Maitena, John Berger, Umberto Eco and many, many more. In 2004 Divinsky received a special mention at the Konex Prize for his contribution to the dissemination of literature and he also received the award due to his publishing trajectory by the Guadalajara International Book Fair. He currently presents a radio programme about books in the University of Buenos Aires.
