Carolina Guerrero is CEO and co-founder of Radio Ambulante Estudios, the pioneer producer and developer of Spanish-language narrative podcasts, focused on covering Latin America for global audiences. Under her leadership, the company has grown significantly thanks to an innovative business model based on diversification of sources of income and the development of derivative products. Her two podcasts, Radio Ambulante, NPR's only Spanish-language podcast, and El hilo, co-produced with Vice News, publish 80 episodes each year and reached an historic 43 million downloads in 2022. Radio Ambulante Estudios has been recognised with prestigious international awards for both journalism and innovation. Carolina was awarded the prestigious John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship at Stanford University, and lives in New York.
