(Seville, Spain, 1965) The journalist Pablo Ordaz has been writing for El País since 1989, working as a correspondent for the paper in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean from 2007 until 2011, and from that year on until 2017 in Rome and the Vatican City. His work, both for radio and written media, has always been related to reporting. He is the author of the books: Crónica negra del Prestige (2003), Voto de castigo (2004), Los tres pies del gato (2007) and Así fue la dictadura (2018). In recent months he has written articles on the trial of Catalan pro-independence politicians accused of rebellion against the Spanish State.
