Aura García-Junco studied Classical Literature. She is a writer, screenwriter and translator. She has worked for media outlets in Mexico and Spain, including Eldiario.es, Washington Post and Revista de la Universidad. She published her first novel, Antikythera, artefacto dentado (Tierra Adentro, Booket) in 2019 and her second book, El día que aprendí que no sé amar (Seix Barral) in 2021. In that same year, she was selected by Granta magazine as one of the 25 most outstanding young fiction writers in the Spanish language. In 2022, Seix Barral published her second novel, Mar de piedra. Dios fulmine a la que escriba sobre mí (Sexto Piso, 2023) is her fourth book.
