Educator and cultural promotor. He has a degree in Philosophy and Letters from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, and another in Social Communication and Journalism from the University of Antioquia. He is a specialist in Educational Planning (Chile), Child Education (Israel), Pedagogy and Teacher Training Programmes (France) and Social Development Project Creation (USA). He has contributed to the creation and implementation of local, regional and national cultural and educational development plans, public policies, strategy development and educational programmes in Antioquia and nationally. He has worked as a teacher, head teacher, teaching supervisor, district educational administrator, curriculum manager and cultural manager for the Antioquia Department of Education and Culture. He was a professor at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, University of Antioquia and University of Medellin, as well as a representative of the National Ministry of Education in Antioquia Region.
