Sociology graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, he later studied Public Policy and Cultural Management. He is a researcher in design arts and heritage, as well as the implementation of cultural policies in public and private institutions, such as the Pedro de Osma Museum, Lima Metropolitan District, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism. Furthermore, he has given seminars on the sociology of art and musicology at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos as well as at his own institution. He is currently an independent consultant and a researcher at the Negrocontinuo Centre for Experimental Music.
