Dr Gabriela Araujo is a mathematician with a Master’s and doctorate in Mathematics, both degrees from the Science Faculty of UNAM. She received her doctorate in the year 2000 and then undertook post-doctoral studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain. She is currently a B Level Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics (Juriquilla Centre), Pride Level D and Level II in the National Researchers’ Network. Her specialty is discreet mathematics, specifically finite geometries and their relationship to graph theory. She is the author of 73 articles of which 45 are peer-reviewed publications in journals, 27 are conference papers, and one is a popular science article. Her work has 102 citations.
